Cathodic Protection

This project involved a comprehensive, turnkey design for the addition of a compressor unit, suction and discharge filtration equipment, and all associated piping required to place the customer’s existing production on compression.

​

The compressor installation was a retrofit to a previously completed I3 Engineering well pad design and layout. Our team developed a fully coordinated design package to support the compressor installation while additional wells were actively being drilled and completed on site. Careful planning and sequencing were critical to maintaining safe operations and minimizing disruption to ongoing field activities.

In addition to detailed engineering, our scope included specification of the compressor unit and negotiation of the contract agreement with the third-party compressor service provider. We also specified and procured the suction and discharge filtration equipment and associated piping materials.

 

During construction, I3 personnel provided inspection services for welding, hydrostatic testing, cathodic protection installation, and coating processes to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. Upon project completion, we delivered a complete as-built documentation package to the client.

This project enabled the customer to maximize well site flow rates, increase operational efficiency, and drive additional revenue growth.
